Master’s Project can be assigned after successful completion of CIS 560, CIS 570, and CIS 580.Usually it takes a semester to complete. Although there is no official exam at the end, an oral presentation is required. Students who work with me are required to submit between 10 and 40 pages of narrative, figures, and code describing and illustrating their work. The draft must have Introduction, Background, Problem and Methodology, Simulations (math, architectures, and other theoretical aspects), Experiments, and Conclusions. MS Project is worth 3 credits.

Master’s Thesis can be assigned after successful completion of MS Project, written presentation of topic, and approval from the Graduate Curriculum Committee. Usually it takes a semester to complete and concludes with oral presentation/defense. Students who work with me are required to submit between 40 and 100 pages of narrative, figures, code, and PowerPoint slides describing and illustration their work. The draft must have Introduction, Background, Problem and Methodology, Simulations (math, architectures, and other theoretical aspects), Experiments, and Conclusions. MS Thesis is worth 3 credits.
